Echuca let the fun begin.

Saturday morning we decided to go and have a little wander around the shores of the Murray River.
The things you find.......Yes this is the very rare thong tree.
As far as I know it only grows along the banks of the Murray and doesn't need much water.
You may need to fertilise with rubber regularly .

You really need to get organised girls.....maybe try to push in the same direction next time...
Some mothers do have them....
Another rare species, but I do believe that they are slowly becoming more popular.
Just a sprinkling of yarn and you should have a happy healthy tree for a long time.
Back to work.....Sues Birds in the Air Block
 and Margs Block
 This is my Block
Tania doing the old fashion pressing with wooden iron....hence that we didn't have one but the rolling pin came in very handy.
 and Tanias Drunkards path finish
My sail boat whipped up in no time at all.
 Margs Drunkards path
It was quite late at this stage...I think that this is where Marg may have needed some coffee.....
 or sleep.
My Flying Geese
 Tanias Birds in the Air
 Sues Drunkards Path
My Drunkards Path.....mmmmm I may unpick the machine appliqué and re do it.
Tanias Drunkards path.
A very productive night indeed.

Looks like you had a great weekend. Clever thinking using a rolling pin as an iron. I would never have thought of that!
