Today I had a play with some Powertex that I had purchased at a recent craft show.
Powertex is a fabric hardener.
The things that you can create with this stuff is amazing.
Since I'm just a beginner...I thought that I would start off with something small and simple.
I decided to make fabric roses out of some scraps that I had
The white in the roses will disappear once they are fully dried
It was a little fiddly and messy but I really enjoyed playing with something new.
I made an even dozen...which is probably my O.C.D
I whipped up some fabric leaves...with wire centres so I could bend and arrange them.
Wrapped the skewers with florist tape and then arranged them in a pretty jar.
This is a Birthday gift for Sue (super 61)

Hello Tracee,

Love the flowers, how gorgeous. Is powertex similiar to mogpodge (I think it was called)? Great creation.
