What a bargain!

Who doesn't love a bargain! I know I certainly do.
I was recently rummaging through our local Op Shop and was lucky enough to come across this very handy little ironing board.
For $1.00
Which will be perfect to do appliqué work on, so much better than having to lug out the large board.
It is in excellent condition, but it could do with a new cover.
So now I have another small project ahead of me.

Also a little while back I entered a competition ran by Rhonda over at Quilter in the Gap.
Would you believe the original winner that was drawn didn't reply to Rhonda so there had to be a redraw and I was lucky number 2.
These fat 1/4s were kindly donated as the prize by Fluffy Sheep Quilting
Aren't they adorable.
A big thank you to Rhonda & Fluffy Sheep Quilting I just love them.
Also a big big thank you to Hadley for letting me know that I had won, you my dear are a true gem.

A little ironing board is great in the sewing room. I got one a while back half price at Lincraft. It wasn't a dollar though!
Great win with the fabrics.
