Not A Lot a Sewing going on....

Boy oh boy.....
I've returned back to the work force full time and gees am I noticing how very little sewing I'm getting done.
I see it and I want to do it...but....there is everything else that needs doing first.
I'm up at 6am getting the nights tea prepared and home by 6pm.
You know the drill then there is the washing, dishes etc and the fact that I'm stuffed.
Hopefully I'll get into some sewing soon...especially now that I have bought myself a slow cooker this should help immensely.
This morning though I was greeted by this.....
Which ended up turning into 10mls of rain. Hooray for the water tanks.

Now would you believe that the view got even better...
for I checked the letter box and I had received this....
a lovely half yard piece of scrumptious fabric from Beth...
I had won this during the Flag on a stick blog hop.
You visit Beth over at her blog here....http://bethstrand.wordpress.com
I also had this lovely surprise in the letter box too...
another win from the Flag on a stick blog hop...
These are iron on transfers from Stitchers Revolution along with two flour sack tea towels to practice on.
This was from Amy over at http://sewincrediblycrazy.blogspot.com.au/
More sewing that I'm just itching to do....
I hope that you are all having a fabulous week.
Big Hugs Tracee xx

You were a lucky girl to win 2 gifts! You will have lots of time once you settle back into working full time - you'll work out how to add those hours to the days so you can do what you would like to!!
Besides, haven't you heard, a grubby house is the sign of a mad quilter!!!

It's tough trying to be everywhere for everyone. Hopefully once you settle into work you will find that precious time for your creativity. Take care.

I get what you mean about the work force, I'm only part time and I know it is very hard. Sometimes though, I decide that my house can be like a haunted house....cobwebs, etc!! lol. It's hard to fit it all in. Love the surprises you received in the mail. Cheers, Anita.
