My Friday night actually started Friday afternoon.
If you want to see what everyone else got up to...pop on over to Wendy's @ Sugar Lane Quilts
In the morning I whizzed through the house work so that I could start on my project.
I had decided to make Hunny Bunny.
From the Homespun Mag No 106 (Vol 13.3)
Checked the requirements then I got started.
I made up the dyeing solution....I used rose pink food coloring for the inner ears.
Parisian Essence & Coffee for the body.
Then I threw in the calico
I then decided to add a dash of Tim Holtz to dress Hunny Bun
Cut, Sew & Clip Gently.....Stuff with love.
Add some buttons and paint her soul on through the eyes.
Display your creation in a yummy mint bed.
Her skin is a bit fairer in the photo than actual life....so I put this down to my Irish heritage you just can't tan us..... it doesn't matter how hard you try, it's near impossible.

She is adorable! WOW! Are you talented! A job well done and no I don't color either! Irish as well! All the best to you this weekend! Nicole
Oh wow, she is so gorgeous, you are very clever!! If you want her whiskers to be a bit stiffer you can rub a little PVA glue on them, I tried that for a bunny I made and it worked. But she is beautiful as she is!!
Sweet bunny!

Your bunny is so cute! (Loved your comment about the Irish skin; I have an olive skin face/neck from my Italian dad, but reddy- brown freckled arms from my Irish grandma...lol)
Hello Tracee,
Hunny Bunny is certainly a internet hit. You did a fantastic job with her.
Happy creating.
Bev.
I love her too sweet
Hunny Bunny is so sweet! She would have taken me weeks to make, especially having to dye the fabric first!
Oh my gosh this is just too cute!! Yes, her soul comes thru her eyes.
What a lovely bunny. You were clever doing your own fabric dying.
