Finally I have got around to posting what I achieved on Friday night.
Yes ..I have done my first Block from the fat Quarter Shops
2013 Designer Mystery
This block is called "Strawberry Picking"
Designed by Joanna Figueroa of Fig Tree Quilts.
On Saturday after admiring my 1st block and looking at how much fabric I had left I decided to make another block . Who knows by the end of the Mystery I just may have enough extra blocks to make a smaller quilt.

Your block looks great - how good is it that you have extra fabric - good in case there's a problem and good for a second block. I read some of your earlier posts - I assume a PHD is a Project Half Done. That's new to me - though I did recently come across SINS recently - Stuff I'll Never Stitch.. Got a number of PHDs and SINS and UFOs and wIPS and - well you get it!
Love your blocks. I made two of most of the blocks for last years DMBOM. Sadly they are still sitting here waiting for some attention :) Enjoy your Sunday, hugs

the blocks are great - colours are very eye catching - it is good that there is so much extra fabric - so often there isn't any room for error with the fabrics supplied!
