@Mill Rose with the Girls

Through the Red door we ventured once again...
to meet up with our bloggy friends from near and far.
These fun filled days, I'm sure will be remembered for many years to come.
The bond of friendship that is formed at these get togethers is amazing and they just seem to strengthen and grow with every meeting.
This was the swap gifts that I had made...
Barb had originally received it but then bad Santa intervened and made every one pass their parcels 2 steps to the right because no one would swap.
Here are all of the other swaps being received....there may have been some laughs and in appropriate rubbing of gifts or sneezing onto gifts so that bad Santa couldn't encourage participants to swap.
 So.....
over all another fantastic day spent laughing and enjoying each others company
with like minded friends.

A Mill Rose Catch Up At It's Finest.

Good morning everyone...I know it's been a while, but I can assure you that I am slowly getting  the whole work sew routine into some form of enjoyable order.
I do hope that you all had a fab mothers day...I was very spoilt with flowers, a patchwork voucher and some very tear wrenching cards from the kidletts.

Well there were certainly some eager beavers who just could not wait to get stuck into the gorgeous range of fabrics at Mill Rose.
These lovely ladies were not able to attend our quarterly meet...so I decided to take them in spirit.
Oh look Marina....more scrumptious fabric.
The traditional swap was had.......the theme was 3 sewing items
Sue above with her goodies and Anne below with hers.
The blogging paparazzi is always in full swing

Lyn with her wonderful swaps....see how happy everyone is....the atmosphere was amazing today.

This is Mels arms opening her swap parcel....a non slip sewing mat and a sewing apron with lots of pockets.
Now this lady always puts a smile on my face the one and only famous Shez.
Did you realize that she is starting to be recognised by adoring fans when she is out and about.

 Kim with her goodies.
A very clever Doll sewing keep made by the one and only Marg
Now I don't want to overload you with photos so I'll be back tomorrow with some more.
Enjoy your Sunday.

On Saturday I spent the most delightful day with a fabulous group of ladies.
We had organised for Elyte, Anne, Robyn and Marina (Annie was in our thoughts, unfortunately she had to work) We had met these lovely ladies through the blogging sphere and the Millrose friends group.
Sue met them down at our local patchwork shop
PATCHNQUILT
which can be found here...SHOP 4, NEXUS CENTRE, 14 PRINCE ST, GISBORNE
Then it was on to my place in Bullengarook..
The table was set, the food was prepared.......
then the laughter and antics began....
Honestly you just can't take this bunch any where.
A nice photo, when your ready ladies...
Oh fine, I'll settle for the serious shot.
Starting from the left we have Marina, Robyn, Marg, Anne, Elyte, Tania and Sue
Thanks for a terrific day ladies.
P.S -See you all at the Pole Dancing Class
