Xmas Table Runner

I have just completed my Christmas Table Runner for the July christmas challenge. Nothing like leaving things to the last minute! I am so pleased with the result, I love the rustic country look. This is going to look gorgeous at Christmas set out on the table with all of the other accessories. I found the pattern in one of my Homespun mags( No.18 Vol.4 No.4 ).

A Lynette Anderson design.

I have been busy!

Yes I know it has been a while since I've posted, but some weeks just fly along and before you know it I hadn't posted anything again. (Note to self: MUST BLOG WEEKLY). We've had school holidays which I just love. I really enjoy having the kids at home it is just the best of times every thing is so much more relaxed with no deadlines to meet. We did a few day things, such as the movies, ice skating, spent a lovely day in Daylesford, my girlfriend came up from Ballarat with her kids for a day, a day shopping here and there and many boardgames to amuse us. In amongst all of this I got a little bit of sewing done. The little pink cot quilt with the flying geese is for a lovely couple that we get our chickens off. They had just had a beautiful little baby girl. The other quilt is small 48 Inches square it is called Lemon Delicious. Mine as you can see is done in soft greens, warm florals and cream chenille. This is one of my UFO's just about out of the way. All I need to do is join, back, bind and quilt these two little quilts and then they are done.
